I am old and I cry
my life lays there dying
the way I combed my hair is forgotten
and my clothes withere away rotten
I had no children, not any, woe's be.
there were no friends to remember me
and now that I am under the earth
no one even recalls me passing.
where did I hide
my secret smiles
my mother's recipes of youth?
humans are we, you and me,
but seldom do I see It.
the existence I once thought of as me
dwindles away, day by day,
until it is you who lies there crying.
