This duniya is like a shadow.
If you try to catch it, you will never be able to do so.
If you turn your back towards it, it has no choice but to follow you.
You choose to just walk away into the vastness of the universe
With only the silence of your heart
Again the great desert veils the Beloved rise up before you.
And without the poetry of earlier days,
Your time being too much consumed
By the war between duty and your heart.
Holding up a rusted mirror to see past your eye,
Why is it that love can never be enough?
Is it the spark of God now lost?
Do you know what fragrance is to be found
Deep within the sacred petals of your heart?
What you know is a single faceted jawahir.
A pearl, ruby, diamond, emerald of the dusty earth,
Each moment stepping further to or from the truth
And traveling the solitary road toward Paradise,
Mera Musafir Al-Din.

O Bird of the morning, learn love from the moth
Because it burnt, lost its life, and found no voice.
These pretenders are ignorantly in search of Him,
Because he who obtained knowledge has not returned.

So speak, O Brother, while you still have the power to utter with grace and
kindness, because tomorrow when the messenger of death arrives, you will out
of necessity restrain your tongue.

1-3 Ibn Al-Qayyim.
5- "Silence of your heart..." God speaks when your heart is silent.
20-23 Sadi, persian poet.
24-26, Gulistan (The Rose Garden) by Saadi.
