Could reaver area of effect spells, such as word of apocalypse, be reworked to
NOT hit your mount? Annoying to cast, and have your mount throw you and
attack you. Thanks.

No. Reaver area spells have always hit even your own party members, and will
continue to hit them plus your associated monsters, including mounts. Consider
this a downside for a one-round AoE spell.
