This is exactly what i tried to hit on some time ago.
The rate feature is complete bullshit personality contest and useless as a
measure stick as people just downrate articles, probably without even reading ,
but DEFINATELY not responding with a reason WHY they vote in such a manner.

People who make a post should be the only ones who get to rate anything, even
that would be almost as useless though.
