I think we'd all benefit from having more guilds in the game,
which in no way compare to the main guilds, because they are
smaller like explorers, or squires, but not nearly as useless

I'm thinking like 6 more guilds, max level 3 or 5, and they
give you maybe 3 skills or spells to 100%, that's it.

Maybe some cool effect if you only join mini guilds!

maybe something like this:
The Arelium Street Gang
lvl 3(max) - grapple,short blades and invisibility to 100

Secret Sect
lvl 5(max) - Meditation, shelter and hiking

Robin Hood's Thieves
level 3(max) - archery, pickpocket, lumberjacking

i've been throwing out the idea of more guilds but i think smaller guilds
like these would just add clutter. You have Explorers which works as
an open 5 lvl guild to give utilitarian skills to those who don't have them..

That being said, I'd bring up my idea to have professions/jobs again.. which
would have task related occupations which revolve around learning 1
partictular
skill or benefit.

Cooking- to the profession of master chef is a good example of this in a way.
Tasks could be thrown together to keep it intersting..

But the types of jobs are left to your imagination... Pirate.. Bandit..
bounty hunter. etc.
