Cyclopses could be the liches of tanky races. Instead of gaining temporary
bonuses when consuming small animals, they could gain permanent bonuses like
liches. Maybe just gaining the amounts in opposite ratios than liches, more
str & con and just small gains in int& wis. Cyclopses ( cyclopi?), in
tradition, have threatened to eat humans, so they could eat all small mobs
instead of just animals. Maybe eating intelligent humanoids could push their
alignment towards evil.

And since its gotta suck to lose them all in a reinc, maybe Origo could drop
some portable cave where they could vomit their gained ( eaten) bonuses for
later consumption in another reinc.
