Was thinking about the possibility of having some learning institution in bat
that's fueled by coin. With enough coin donated, scholars are tempted into
giving lectures on various subjects. Possibly allowing characters to learn
a skill or spell that's not normally on offer.

or maybe training in new subjects that haven't been offered before.. i'd
imagine that skills that would improve on their own would be preferable.
Whether or not a per student fee would be required or.. a flat-mass donation
is up to the coder.

by necessity, the skills-spells on offer wouldn't be overly powerful. Just
a thought that jumped off the idea of Shin-task areas offering a unique
skill after enough favour donated.

I expanded on the idea a bit..

so. scholars could be offered up on a weekly-monthly basis and rotate as the
person in charge sees fit. Their background would be made known.. like a
famed botanist would like to expound upon the varieties of flora within
the wilds of the lands. If a certain condition wasn't met by a certain date,
then the lecturer would decline to visit.

I initially thought that the requirements could be a lump sum of gold that
collective players would have to donate but depending on the profession of
the lecturer, the requirements could be a mass sum of plants, a rare item or
whatever is relevant.

If the player in question has the skill already, the insight could possibly
give a modest bump to the skill.

I liked the idea of having weekly, or monthly things that involve the players
that changes from boot to boot. Sadly, the idea is hardly original as its
a tactic i see in a lot of f2p games who have to keep player interest.
