Just because an animal has fallen in battle, that does not mean it is not a worthy steed or companion. With this spell, a knight/animist can bestow the same protection on a summoned animal soul as the 'noble mount' spell provides on a living steed. It also provides the animal spirit with a set of barding as well. Syntax: cast noble animal spirit at <target> name <new name> adjective <adj> <adj> is like the personal race adjective Only one mount can exist with a given name at any time. A name of a mount that mysteriously vanishes cannot be used for a month.
