Remember when the old Batworld was destroyed and all the player cities migrated to an ethereal plane? Well, for some peculiar reason, the ethereal plane, or Nexus, seems to be strongly related to the recent overflow of Jorgoses to this new world. It seems that their native continent is not Furnachia, as one might easily guess, but instead their origins are more shrouded in mystery. However, while mostly the plain Jorgoses have recently invaded the realms, it seems that they have left behind cousins on the ethereal plane of their origin, in a ghost city of E'siris. When the Jorgos community realized that there are new inhabitants on the new continents, they requested help from Dralith (with a lot of help from Blasterr, and some from Ulath) for rebuilding the city of E'siris. The golems themselves already had a method for accessing this ethereal city - and they have tapped into Melemkor's whirling portals for providing access. Now, the interesting thing about this city is that while you can enter it from any continent, you can only exit to the continent you came from, be it you arrived via a portal, or by someone bringing your soul back from the dead to E'siris. The golems, however, babble about some eternal quests one could complete to allow access to ANY continent regardless of where you came from - perhaps this is something you should investigate? For those HC-players; in short, the ferry experiment didn't go down as well as we had thought. A new ethereal city has been brought into the game, which is accessible from any Whirling Portal, but you can only exit to where you came from - except if you can find out what all the Jorgos-babble about the quests are about. If you encounter bugs, please contact Dralith, yours truly, or any 150+ wiz, in that order. We have the capability to fix issues immediately. |
