Hail, fellow players, and well met! Yet again it has come time to announce news from the grand ivory towers of PupuLabs, the development team of PupuMaps(tm). This announcement, and much of the latest improvements themselves, were sponsored by Sandels' beer and Olvi's Kultalonkero. First of all, my (Ggr's) map of Arelium [ http://tnsp.org/maps/arelium.html ] has finally gotten its facelift and actually may work sanely. It has been tested to work well under Firefox 3, and Opera 9 (albeit Opera tends to render it somewhat slow). Rumours from other parties whisper, that IE7 and later may also work. Second announcement concerns addition of a new feature, namely that the support for OpenSearch was added to my map pages [ http://tnsp.org/maps/ ]. It is possible now to utilize this feature in any browser that supports OpenSearch, such as FireFox 3 and Safari 4. In FireFox 3, simply click on the search bar's icon, and choose 'Add "PupuMaps"'. After that, the when PupuMaps search is selected, FireFox will show location name suggestions based on typed terms. Hopefully you'll find these additions useful, and in any case: bouncy spring-time to you all! -- Ggr "HALOJATA?" Pupunen |
