I've returned to the game after a long hiatus so I'm basically a newbie now.

How do I join the Master Merchant's guild? I've found the guild but the 'join' funtionality is not an option. Other than a civilized background am I missing a requirement?

Joinin happens at arelium business center where the gambling hall is. There is a peddlar in middle of the complex, he is the GM who allows you to join the guild.
