I'm just barely starting, I made a centaur. I'm wondering what the best soloing class is, and if my race choice was a wise one?

Presuming you are a nomad, the typical choice would be ranger to start with, but barbarian is usually suitable as well. Centaur is a good, big race, it's probably pretty decent. Side-note, if i recall, centaur has pretty high wisdom, and I think some of the ranger skills use that, in case that makes your choice any easier.

a ranger sounds fun I suppose. I had fun playing one on old school EQ at least. ty.
