The Map window in the client doesn't work. it shows the map, but it is compressed and you can't distinguish where things are. It might be a font problem, but i don't know how to fix it. any help would be much appreciated!

It's most likely a font problem. Try a font with equal width characters like courier or monospace.

I also noticed that the map window (not the realm map one) doesn't resize, so I've to change the fixed width font with bigger size ones, but, in this manner, the map is scrambled up, 'cos can't resize to fit the content

The basic map window actually does resize. The corners where you control this are a bit tricky to find due to the extra graphics, so they are a bit "off" from the actual end of the frame (outside).

Not sure what happens, but the color of the "map window feature" are no more dark bleu...
This map is not equal to the map you get with the command "map".
