First off: the finger info has been added, so enjoy. Second: For Tier 3 of the
toolbelt quest. I have quite a few new bonuses in mind which should be
interesting, so I don't have any problems with the reward aspect of the quest.
So, what I mainly need are ideas for the quests/challenges themselves.

My primary thoughts are these: Those who've completed tier 2 have demonstrated
that they have a solid and well-rounded base of skills and spells, and a very
good knowledge of how the game works from a merchant's perspective. Thus, I
intend for tier 3 to take another direction - demonstrating that you can
create and maintain a thriving business. I have a couple of ideas in this
direction, but would appreciate additional input on how to accomplish it. If
you have ideas, feel free to send them to me via <mudmail>.

Don't expect anything too quickly though, my current priority project is
ships, and that's going to take a while longer }:)

I\'m spending some time going through all our old merchant guild postings, and
this one caught my eye. Melemkor, may we still send you suggestions for Tier
3? Is there any hope of seeing Tier 3 in our mortal lifetimes? (No
complaints by any means.. ships are amazing and have taken all your time for
years). I just wonder if Tier 3 has been forever tabled, or if it\'s still an
open topic.

If you\'re still considering Tier 3, I\'d like to chime in with some ideas, and
I\'m sure many of the other master merchants are interested as well.

This perhaps should have been sent as a mudmail to Melemkor alone, but I wanted
to bring the topic in front of everyone to see if the interest level is still
as high as it once was.

I'd be happy to take more suggestions on tier 3. I've had and received some
decent ideas (and have probably forgotten some over time as well). But thus
far, nothing has truly inspired me for a 3rd tier.

Mudmail and "idea" are definitely the best ways to send me ideas and have them
hang around so I don't forget them by the time I get around to coding tier 3.

The theme of a thriving business is a good one, although I don't want to
create quests that you can complete by (e.g.) asking friends to buy items for
you. There was another nice idea that someone had, that went along with
becoming a "specialist" in a particular theme of the guild (shipbuilding,
reagents, chests, prots, etc). However, this is a much larger scale idea, and
one I wouldn't code myself for a long time.

So, feel free to suggest a new theme for me to work off of as well (tier 1 was
using as many different skills as possible, tier 2 was a test of "merchantly
endurance", shipquests are generally based on showing a thorough knowledge of
the areas in the game, tier 3 is...???)
