I'm using v1.99k (Java VM 1.6.0_27) on Linux/icedtea-6.1.12.7.
While typing long message to newbie channel commandline became multiline, and
after switching back to general tab it still multiline and history (with
up/down buttons) doesn't work anymore.
Only workaround I've found is changing font size of commandline - this reset it
to singleline state and restore access to history.
