Hi All

As a new player, one of the things ive looked for is info on wether various
skills are worth it for the new player or not- and one of the big onesfor me
was wether it was worth spawning

Im hoping my testing will help out other new players like myself who makethe
decision

Ive re-inced far too many times, but kept slowly building my rep up- hoping for
a big spawn at the end to make it worth all the effort, but since then i've
found out the max stats bonus is capped at approx 15-20% (this ties in well
with my results at 50% of octopuss). Apparently this was changed when many
players got to max, and is now a balanced skill for maxxed out players

So the question i had to ask myself is- given that the end result is not
amazing is it worth building up the spawn.

So, i spent 4 days testing, 2 spending the whole day spawned, the other 2 days
completely un-spawned

The results were that not only did i gain less xp spawned, but i actually
killed slightly slower, this is due to the increased EP cost of spawning,
de-spawing etc.
As a result of constantly being ep starved i had to be far more conservative
with skills, hence the lower kill rate.

Over the day spawning i gained 2m exp and under 1% spawn rep, and i imagine it
is not linear (the gap per % spawn rep will increase).

So spawning for a new player will cost literally tens of millions of xp that
will be lost.

If a player chooses not to spawn however, they will gain levels far faster, and
gain useful skills in secondary guilds.

Therefore my advice to the new player is not to spawn, if you want rep that
will build something huge, either look at the mount (obviously useful) or look
at the other newbie guild
(rift walkers) which can build entities to massive sizes that can tank huge
npcs.

Tzarakk is a fun guild, i keep coming back to it, but i think a new player
should look at it as a foundation to get a basic set of skills and then go on
to another guild for offensive abilities etc.

Hope this will help fellow newbies looking for info.

Thanks
