Would it be too much to ask for a reduction of the sp cost of infravision for
the sp poor tanks of kharim? we can cast greater darkness at 30 sps but infra
at 48? seems we should be able to cast both. dont think it will unbalance the
guild or game too much. and carrying a wis set around doesnt seem right to me
either. just a thought and a request. thanks

Being virtually the only guild besides some racial guilds that actually gives
the possibility for nomad people to cast any spells, you are privileged to
even have access to greater darkness. Nomad legionaries of Kharim have some
advantages when compared to their evil religious counterparts as they are
stronger and usually able to endure more pain. Evil religious followers
naturally have their own advantages and despite the fact that use of magic is
forbidden in combat, other generic magic offered in this guild is basically
aimed for evil religious people. There has been requests in the past to ask
spmax for nomad Kharims because the spell costs are high and out of reach for
nomads. Nevertheless, this unfortunate event is not a coincidence and while I
agree that giving access to infravision would not be at all unbalancing, I do
not want to promote nomad spellcasters and feel that they should solve their
problems in other traditional ways, with use of torches or maybe with rings
of infravision.
