Acidia was asking merchs the other day what could be added to minecrafting
to make it even more special.

So i had a couple thoughts about things barely related.


1. Rumours abound about a ring of duergar who are trapping and fighting the
bad tempered grues that aggressively defend their underground territory.
Merchants with questionable morals have managed to lure these bad tempered
beasts into traps to be later sold into the fight pits. Others have even
kept and trained them in the hopes of winning coin and prestige.

2. Merchants mine for many reasons but primarily the intent is to extract
what the land has to offer. Once merchants have perfected the art of mining
(max Minecraft) A new skill is offered up, the drive to explore the mysteries
that the earth has.. takes over.

New skill is offered up once minecrafting has been maxed, Deep mining.

This skill allows you to mine deeper into the earth after a natural mine
has already been maxed. Deep mining is more of an exploratory skill that
lets you find unusual things the land has to offer. Once a mine has been
maxed, A message will tell you if there is more to discover. Be warned,
tho large veins of materials have been found, other more dangerous things
dwell deep within the earth.

Colonies of various creatures, the undersea, natural caverns, ruins of an
ancient people, burial chambers.. the earth hides many things. Deep miners
require courage.
