I had this weird idea. No wizard wants to manually go through all the monster
data and change their race to correspond to what the short/longdesc describes.
We have a lot of weird or plain wrong monster race attributes everywhere,
probably because they weren't used for anything until more recently.

Would it be feasible to add some kind of feature for folklorists, who go
around detecting monster races anyway, to make corrections or at least suggest
them? You could justify it with some lore like: "The ancient scribes who
recorded data on creature races got a lot wrong. One could ask if they even
knew the word 'taxonomy'. Therefor it is up to you, fellow folklorists, to
correct those outdated records."

In a proper scientific manner, every proposed race change would be
peer-reviewed by a number of other guild members. They might be able to check
a list, read the short/long descs of a certain monster with their current race
and suggested new race. If that proposal gets the approval of other guild
members, it could be used to either forward it to some wizard who makes the
change. Or if possible at all, even automatically. The guild members who
participated either in suggesting or peer-reviewing might get a small benefit
to their racial knowledge, or some other bonus that is deemed appropriate.
