Unbend the clever delight of stars
Send the moon to another galaxy
But never banish my heart from you.
Outside the rain and unturned to the sea
Let cascade the night of mirrors,
Embrace the innermost of your every dream.
Speak so low that the lover closely bends nigh
Repeat to her in jest that you may again catch her sighs,
And watch the smile light up the stars in her eyes.
Candles multiplied by the fall of a slow shooting star
Need you never seek the furnace of her golden heart molten.
