In the eyes of your Friend
Your Heart is paralyzed
And the Voice of your Master
Has hypnotized and mesmerized you.
Wisdom is not innocence
Nor is it the ungainly youth;
Instead, it is he who uses his mouth for words
Rather than catching hold of many feet.
One who is ignorant is not the same
As an innocent child, yet the same
Lacking knowledge eludes wisdom there.
So when one speaks with wisdom
There is such purity in the soul
That each Heart becomes one
With God.
