A companionship moved onwards on the winding path. A little hobbit, smiling
and eager to search every single bush and turning over every little rock that
came on their path. . 'Stop that already!' cried a human who had a sturdy bow
on his back and a sword on his side. Hobbit looked at him surprisedly. 'Umm..
what?' asked the little one with no idea what had annoyed this agile Ranger,
who had seen this land so many times before. 'You're jumping all around the
bushes and kicking those damn rocks at me!' replied the human. 'Oh, I'm truly
sorry sir. I just thought I saw something glittering under that rock and the
bush made some funny noises and I HAD to go search it' said the hobbit. 'I'm
sorry little one, it's just that I've seen these rocks and bushes many times
before and I can tell you there's nothing of interest here' apologized the
ranger. Two other members of this mysterious party shook their heads at each
other and kept walking on. The other one was a huge minotaur. His huge head
with two long and sharp horns were terrifying view to his enemies. His
nosering had few drops of dried blood on it. His body was built with muscles
and muscles only. He looked like he could lift old oaks with his left hand
while his right one was making toast from a pack of goblins. He had two
longswords tied on his back, which was a potential threat to any creature on
the realm. Fourth member was a creature of beauty. She was approximately 250
years old but you couldn't tell it from her face. She was one of the elves
that lived up on the trees. She had her bow which had a weird white glow on
it, which nautrally was something the little hobbit wanted to touch and was
not allowed to. She had inherited it from some of her relatives that had
passed on in some mysterious way that nobody wanted to discuss with her. It
was obvious that the bow had some enchantments on it, because she had never
missed her targer with it. As the party walked on, the little one felt his
belly crumling and started to complain about it instantly. 'Your damn belly is
empty even if we'd fed you seven wild boars!' cried the human. 'But good sir,
I'm so hungry' whined the little hobbit. One could hear a small 'Damn hobbit!'
gasp leaving the humans lips before he said that they should rest for a while
and eat something if they had anything left. They kept walking for a while
until they saw a little campfire ahead and a figure sitting next to it. 'Oh
boy, oh boy! Who's that? I want to go over there! Please!' sang the hobbit
jumping up and down. It was obvious that the hobbit hadn't seen it's mature
days yet. 'Stop!' roared the huge minotaur and the hobbit froze still. The
minotaur was the only one who had his word through with the hobbit. Probably
because he was three times taller than the little hobbit. . 'We should
proceed with caution' said the human to the others, while moving his hand on
his sword. Minotaur nodded at him and the elf joined the human's idea. Hobbit
was still standing in front of them without making any noise. 'You will come
after me' grumbled the minotaur to hobbit. Little one nodded and ran behind
the huge creature. They walked at the figure and saw that it had a black robe
that covered it's entire body and hood over it's head hid it's face in the
shadows. 'Hello, my good man' cried the human at the figure. Nothing happened.
The figure sat still without moviNothing happened. The figure sat still
without moving. They kept on walking at it. 'Hello sir!' cried the hobbit who
was jumping up and down behind the minotaur . Still no reaction. They kept on
going and when they was standing next to the figure they heard it mumble
something. They saw that it was a human male inside the robe. 'May we sit
here and warm ourselves for a while?' asked the elf. The mysterious male
nodded and kept mumbling. The party spread around the fire keeping few meters
distance to the mysterious man. They ate bread and drank ale. The elf offered
the man some bread and ale, but the man refused and kept on mumbling. Elf
turned at her companions and they all had a puzzled look on their faces.
Hobbit whispered 'What is he mumbling?' to the elf. She replied that it was
probably some sort of spell or maybe he was just crazy and talking to some
weird spirits with his weird language. Hobbit went to the ranger and
whispered to his ear 'Elf thinks that this man is crazy and we should be on
our way, before he calls some spirits to attack us.' Ranger smiled and told
the hobbit to stay calm. After a little rest the Ranger stood up and thanked
the mysterious man and called the party to journey onward. They packed their
gear and bowed to the man and went on the path again and continued their
travel. The hobbit glanced back at the mysterious man and saw the man
standing next to the fire and moving his hand above the fire. As soon as his
hand had went over the fire, the fire was gone. Hobbits eyes were like tea
bowls. He jumped on the Rangers hand gasping his breath. Ranger shook him off
from him and asked 'WHAT?!' Hobbit explained what he had seen and the party
giggled and said that the man probably had a little waterbucket that the
hobbit didn't see. They didn't react on hobbits continuous convincing and
kept walking. Hobbit turned his head again to see the mysterious man. The man
was walking 100 meters behind them. 'Look! He's following us!' cried the
hobbit. Then the minotaur turned over and said 'Little one is right. We have
company.' Everybody turned around and saw that the hobbit was telling the
truth. 'Let's haste, mates' said the human and hurried his steps. They went
on half running for a while and glanced back and the mysterious man was now
only 50 meters away from them. 'What in the name of!' wondered the human.
'What if he's summoning the spirits on us!' said the hobbit with his voice
trembling. ' I'm sorry little one, but it was just a ghost story' said the elf
to the little hobbit. 'But what if it's not!' replied the hobbit . 'We'll find
out!' roared the minotaur and revealed his swords. It was a view that chilled
the little hobbits blood
eventhough he was journeying with the minotaur. Still the mysterious man kept
coming at them. They thought he was a fragile lunatic but he kept moving like
a wild boar in rage . 'What do you want from us!' yelled the ranger at the
mysterious man. "ARE YOU READY FOR SOME DARKNESS?" cried the mysterious man
and black rays flew from his hand. It was like time had lost it's meaning.
They thought the black rays had pierced their bodies, but they went beside
them. They turned over and saw almost 30 goblins about 50 meters from them
glowing in black. It looked like every single string of light had vanished
from them. It was like a two dozen black holes in the sky had opened and the
wicked rays had come down to surround every single goblin goblin there was.
"DO YOU WANNA TOUCH THE NIGHT TONIGHT?" Cried the mysterious man and lifted
his hands up high. All of the goblins instantly rose up in a speed of
lightning. They rose so high that the party lost them. Everybody stared at the
mysterious man and couldn't take their eyes off from him. Man covered his
hands inside the robe and the party heard a sickening THUD behind them. And
another after another. They all turned around and saw goblins falling on the
ground. Their mouths opened as they watched few dozen goblins falling down
from the sky. Then everything was silent again. Ranger turned at the man and
asked 'How did you know we were going to be ambushed?' Man just turned his
head down and mumbled again. 'What is this?' asked the shivering hobbit.
Everybody was so full of questions and yet nobody had answers except the man
who was standing behind them mumbling on its own. 'Let's go and fast!' cursed
the minotaur. So they kept on going avoiding the pile of goblins. Except the
hobbit. He went straight at the pile and started searching for some treasures
with a smile from ear to ear. 'GET OVER HERE!' yelled the minotaur at the
little blister on their butt. The little blister came running showing off the
30 gold pieces he had found from the corpses. 'I also found this handy dagger'
he said flashing a dagger which had a green blade. 'Throw it away!' cried the
elf. Hobbit dropped the dagger with a black look on his face. 'That blade was
poisoned! Didn't you see the green liquid dripping from the tip?' lectured
the elf. He shoke his head in a shame. 'That's ok, nothing bad happened' said
the elf and laid her hand on his head. Hobbit turned around to see if the man
was following them. He was. 'He's still following us' whispered the hobbit.
Ranger turned over and saw this mysterious man walking 20 meters behind them.
'I wonder what is with him' said the ranger to the others. 'Me too, bun I do
not worry anymore. He probably saved our lives' said the minotaur. 'Goblins
with poisonous daggers, what is happening around here?' he wondered. 'Maybe
we should consider him as a guardian angel, but still be wary' said the
beautiful elf. She convinced the others. They kept on walking trying to talk
to the mysterious man every once in a while in vein. Mysterious man kept on
mumbling. They couldn't figure out what was he saying. As they were walking,
the ranger heard something ahead of them. 'Beware, I'm hearding something in
front of us.' As the road started to go downhill, they saw a humongous pack of
orcs raiding an inn. Fire blazed from the windows and the roof was already
being licked by merciless flames. 'There's way too many of them, we can't
handle this' said the ranger. They all agreed. They heard screams down from
the inn. Half of the orcs were storming at them. 'There's more than 50 of
them running at us!' cried the hobbit. 'Still it would be a massacre' said the
minotaur. He was right. 50 orcs against 4 companions was way too much. Then
the mysterious man walked past them and revealed his hands again. "DO YOU
WANNA LOSE YOUR MIND TONIGHT?" came from his lips. Every single orc stopped
instantly. Even the rest of the pack who was still pillaging the inn down the
hill. Orcs stared at the mysterious man. He lifted his hands up towards the
sky. Orcs broke their confusion and started to storm at the man. "ARE YOU
READY FOR THE BOOTH, AND TASTE SOME OUTER SPACE TRUTH?" And then rain came
over them. There were not a single cloud on the sky but still the rain broke
down. It was a rain of stars. Little stars hammered the orcs down. Then it
was all quiet again. The man hid his hands inside the robe again and started
his weird muttering. The party looked around them and didn't see a single orc
alive. Every orc had a little star-shaped hole on their chests and faint smoke
rose from the holes spreading the aroma of burnt orc flesh. 'I thank you sir,
for helping us once again.' Said the elf to the mysterious man who didn't
reply at her, but just kept on mumbling. 'He's really weird' said the little
hobbit. 'I know, but he's been looking after us for god knows what reason'
replied the ranger. 'He seems to be talking in some sort of riddles' said the
minotaur. 'Everything he has said, had some sort of question of riddle hidden
in them.' 'I'm going to try to talk to him the same way he speaks those
powerful words.' 'Let's be on our way and see if there's anybody alive in the
little inn down the hill' said the elf and the party walked onwards. They
reached the inn in no time and started to look around. The devastation was
horrifying. Everything was smashed into pieces or charred to ash. There were
no possible survivors. As they were about to leave, the little hobbit cried 'I
found a trapdoor!' They went to the trapdoor and didn't see a sign of the
hobbit. Elf went first in, because she could see in the dark. She saw the
hobbit merrily jumping on the dark passage. Rest of the party followed her.
Even the robed man entered the trapdoor. Nobody didn't know how. He was just
standing behind them mumbling his own again. They kept going on. The elf kept
an eye on the hobbit, who was going further and further without thinking
twice. Rest of them was
utterly blind in the dark passageway. Nobody didn't know did the fifth
companion see or how did he could keep up with them. Minotaur cursed every
once in a while when he hit his horns on the ceiling. It was very tight place
to be for him. 'Get back here you little twerp!' muttered the minotaur while
hitting his horns on the ceiling. 'Ethnic hairstyles, Sloppy male hippies,
Retro punks, People with thick glasses, Glorifying serial killers, HOBBIT
MOTHERFUCKERS!' he cried in anger. 'No guts, No glory, No riotYAAARGH!' he
continued while stumbling onwards. Somewhere radiated some red light. It was
unholy light. It didn't have any warmth in it. Hobbit had stopped and stood
still. He was staring something. He couldn't move. The party alerted each
others and kept going carefully and ready for some action. When they reached
the hobbit, they saw what it had seen. Gigantic blue demon was standing in
front of them. They froze still. Ranger thought how they could've met so many
monsters today since they hadn't met any living thing for weeks. Today
they've met goblins, sick amount of orcs and now this. What was happening?
Does it have something to do with the mysterious follower? Was this the end
of the road? What? Why? So many questions. He was falling in his thoughts
eventhough danger was few meters away from him. 'I AM THE DENIM DEMON!'
roared the gigantic thing in front of them. 'I have seen the distant shores of
hell.' 'You need a guiding hand? You need directions to enter the gates of
hell? Well, here you go. Here comes love, here comes blood!' The blue demon
started to chant something and its hands started to change colors. "ARE YOU
READY TO BE PUNISHED?" the robed man shouted as he walked in front of the
demon. Denim demon stopped its chant and grabbed the robed man in its claws
and lifted him in front of it's face. The demon stared at the little man who
was a bit bigger than one of its claws. "OR DO YOU WANNA GRAB YOUR HAT AND
RUN?" continued the odd companion. The robed man started to glow in black
light like the goblins did. The glow became stronger and started to suck
light out of the room. His eyes were completely black. Demon started to grow
rage against the man and released a hideous roar. The mysterious man kept
staring at demons huge eyes. "ARE YOU READY FOR SOME GOOD OLD PAIN?" cried
the man and bursts of black light bursted from his eyes towards the demons
huge eyes. The black light spread all over the demon and they both shone in
black light. The party held their breath. What was happening? The demon
growled at the man starting to squeeze him into bits, but the man didn't
react. Like he couldn't feel pain. Demon raised his other hand towards the
man's head. "ARE YOU READY FOR THE LIGHT?" screamed the man and there was a
white flash which blinded the party. When they gained their vision back, they
saw the black man all covered with his robes like they were used to see him.
He was once again mumbling his own. 'What was that?! What happened? What?
WHAT!?' screamed the hobbit. 'Honestly I don't know.' replied the elf. 'All I
know we're still alive and we wouldn't be without this man' said the ranger
and was a bout to give the robed man a friendly slap on the back but his hand
stopped few inches from the man. Ranger had a confused look in his face.
Everybody was just staring around. There was a demon a minute ago. Largest
thing they've had ever seen. Now it was gone. 'I don't want to go any further'
said the hobbit and surprisingly the party agreed and turned back. They
climbed out of the manhole and smelled the fresh air. It smelled like a little
piece of heaven. Death was around the corner and yet it didn't take them
away. And it was only because this weird man had saved them not once, not
twice, but three times in a single day. And they have just met him. Still
they haven't spoken to him. Not a single word. They walked a while away from
the ruins of the small inn. 'I'm hungry, I wanna eat' whined the hobbit.
Surprisingly they agreed again with the hobbit. They were all still shaking so
they sat down. Minotaur went to woods and returned with few sticks of wood
and built a fireplace. Suddenly they heard a bird screaming behind them and
they all turned around. There was nothing behind them. When they turned back,
the fireplace was flaming. They looked each other and asked who lit it up.
Nobody did. Mysterious man was still mumbling and didn't react at their
questions. They feasted with ale and bread again and laid back after their
bellies were full. 'Umm.. sir, why do you speak in riddles?' asked the hobbit
No reaction. 'This is irritating, he's like a zombie when there's no combat!'
cried the hobbit. 'You should be glad, my little friend' replied the elf
maiden. 'If he would be our enemy, we wouldn't had this feast and wouldn't be
here resting our bones.' 'You're right like always' replied the hobbit to the
elf. 'I'm sorry sir' hobbit apologized. Nothing happened. 'What was those
words you were chanting?' 'Are they some sort of spell vocals?' asked the
ranger. No reply. 'How did it went?' 'Are you ready for some darkness?'
Instantly the robed man stood up and replied "YES I'M READY!" As the
mysterious man finished his sentence, he turned into a pile of ash on the
ground. Everybody went speechless. Just stared at the pile of ash. As soon as
he had turned into a pile of ash, started a heavy wind to blow. The ash mixed
with the wind and rose up. They stared at the ash rising up in the sky and
then it vanished from their vision. And the wind was also gone. They kept
staring up on the night sky and saw one star to twinkle much more brighter
than the others. Almost like it was trying to tell something to them. Then it
dimmed and was like any other star. They were totally speechless. A little
later the hobbit opened his mouth and asked 'What was that? What did you do to
him?' Ranger replied 'If I'd know, I'd tell you. This is something I've never
seen or heard before. Ever.' Suddenly they heard a horse coming towards them.
Minotaur stood up to be ready if the rider had some bad intentions. Horse
stopped next to them and long-bearded man jumped down. He was probably as old
as the elven maiden. 'May I rest my tired bones for a while?' he asked. 'Of
course' replied the elf. They sat there for a while chatting this and that.
'We met the weirdest man today!' cried the hobbit in glee. 'He didn't speak a
single word to us but knew magic that I've ever seen or heard before' he
continued enthustiatically. The party explained their earlier events. 'Hmm..
sounds familiar. I've heard once before an event similar to this.' replied the
old man. 'You felt like he was your guardian angel?' the old man asked.
'YES!' they all cried. 'You've met something most of us hopes to meet someday.
You've met one of the greatest beings on this realm. You've met something
that holds the greatest powers there is. You've met one of the almighty
judges. One of the creators and destroyers. You've met one who rules heaven
and hell and everything between. ' explained the old man. 'Well, what was
it!?' said the hobbit anxiously. The old man muttered under his breath:
'You've met one of the Gods, an Archwizard.'
