Once upon a time there was this cute and fluffy bunny. Her thick fur was
shining and white as snow. This little bunny did nothing but cleansed her fur
trying to look good and ate carrots with her little teeth all day long. One
day she was strolling over the green lush hills of Wonderland. She heard some
noise ahead. It sounded like the noise was getting closer, so she decided to
find a hiding place. She stumbled upon a small abandoned rabbit hole and
jumped in. She peeped out of the hole and was almost scared to death by a girl
running towards her and plunging into the same hole. After recovering from the
shock the bunny started to examine her new acquaintanceship. The girl had a
long curly hair and she told her name was Dorothy. She also told that the evil
blorts were chasing her after they caught her playing in the house of their
leader. Actually she wasn't playing in that house, she was hiding from an evil
wolverine that was chasing her. As you can notice, Dorothy wasn't very
popular, she had only a couple of friends, her faithful dog Toto and a couple
of wibbles she was virtually protecting from the blorts and their evil leader.
The wibbles turned to her after the blort leader had turned one of their
little children into a frog after getting lost and stumbling to the blorts'
grounds. Our little bunny got very curious about how Dorothy had gotten to the
Wonderland. You see, humans are not native habitants in wonderland, they only
get there by magic (not very common in modern days) or the way we are about to
hear. Dorothy told our dear bunny that she had fallen to Wonderland through a
hole but couldn't get back up so she was kind of stuck in the Wonderland.
After the blorts were gone, they said goodbye to each other and went different
ways. The story about the hole remained in the head of our little bunny and
pestered her for weeks. One sleepless night she decided to find that hole and
see how the outer world is. She roamed around the Wonderland and finally,
after months of searching, she found the hole leading out to big wild world.
At the first peek out of the hole the whole world opened around her: tall
trees reaching to the skies, green plains as far as she could see. Salamanders
were sunbathing on the rocks, birds flying and singing overhead and flowers
blossoming in most wonderful colours. She crawled out of the hole and started
wandering where the feet led her. She came to a road and started to follow it.
Far ahead she saw an intersection with many merchants selling their wares,
adventurers boast about their latest kills and of course little forest animals
looking at the events from their hideouts. This little bunny decided to be the
bravest of all the animals and to walk in the middle of the people. Feeling a
bit unsecure she entered the crowd. Before she even noticed, she fell into a
mudpit and her neat fur got all dirty. Now look at that. A not-so-cute and a
little less fluffy bunny all over in mud. The crowd around her laughed at her
and called her names.
"Look at that stupid rabbit! How silly!" shouted an adventurer.
"I wonder where it came from." said the other.
The little bunny struggled in the mud and finally got out of the pit. Alas,
she couldn't see a thing because of the mud in her eyes. She meandered around
blinded and bumped into something soft.
"Hello cutie. What has happened to you?" she heard a voice say.
She felt a hand grab her gently and lift her in the air.
"Take it easy, little fella, I'm going to take you to a glade so that you can
clean yourself."
She felt a bit afraid when her ride started to move. For a some time the man
walked silently and all she could hear was a snap of a twig here and rustle of
leaves there. After they had arrived to the glade and the bunny had cleansed
her fur the man started talking. He told his name was Sable and that he was
one of the oldest rangers. In between of his stories the man slipped into the
forest and returned after a while with a bunch of wild carrots. Bunny listened
to all this and was very excited. Not only because of the carrots but she was
truly amazed by the knowledge this man possessed. Sable promised to take her
to meet other friends of his. After a short rest Sable picked our little
bunny up and tucked her in his chest pocket. They walked and walked past many
kinds of trees and bushes. Little bunny looked at everything with a bored
expression on her face. Through the trees on their right she could see the
sunbeams dance on the surface of a little lake. After an eternity they passed
a sign reading '100 acre forest' and shortly after that they stopped. Sable
told the bunny that he would leave her here and went to gather up his friends
to meet her. A few moments later Sable returned accompanied by an owl, a
donkey, a bear and a rabbit. The new friends of our little bunny were jolly
good fellas, they had a good time and even a little party at the sunset. At
the sunrise Sable and the little bunny said goodbye to the new friends. The
rabbit even gave her a bag of carrots for lunch. Sable and bunny left the 100
acre forest with the new friends waving at them. Their mood was a bit sad, but
the beautiful scenery made them forget all the sad things. Bunny sat on
Sable's shoulder and looked at all the wondrous thing around her.
Multicoloured birds were flying around them, they didn't seem to be afraid of
Sable and sometimes it seemed like Sable was talking to the birds, even though
it was just plain whistling. When the sun was about to set, they stopped for
no visible reason. Bunny opened her mouth to ask Sable why they had stopped,
but before bunny could say anything, Sable pointed at a tussock on the ground.
In the side of the tussock was a little hole and bunny recognized it as the
very same hole she had crawled up to the big wild world. She said goodbye to
Sable and dragging the sack of carrots behind her she crawled down to the
hole. She arrived back to Wonderland and headed back to her burrow. In the
evening as the little bunny was eating the carrots she thought of the new
friends she had made and promised herself to visit them very soon.
