Event this year! Wubba lubba dub dub!

This year, the event comes in three stages.
1) Complete tasks for the questgivers. Each day you can get one Combat and one
Crafting quest, each with their own separate requirements and points. Doing
one has no effect on the other, and partying/trading is encouraged. Each gives
100 points of its own type.

2) If the playerbase completes enough quests of the given type (currently set
to 25), a portal opens up to a special area. Crafting points open up a low
combat, high crafting world, and combat vice versa. Kill things, take things,
explore, find interesting items, etc etc. Unlike ultra-hard continent quests,
these special worlds are not solo, but sharable with your party members.

3) Bring back enough materials from the listed worlds, however, and you can
head up to the rooftops and build a special structure that can summon a much
larger boss mob. Killing the mob will grant everyone involved +25 more Combat
points, and -- if you can get the materials to keep doing so -- you can do
this multiple times. The boss mob might also drop other items of use or value.

Points can be cashed in for various items appropriate to their nature. 1,000
Crafting points, for example, can get you a working Minecraft table for your
diamond pick and rabbit stew making needs. 1,000 Combat points lets you
transfer a special "legendary" effect to an existing weapon/armour. Effects
include things like "sharp" (+insig int/cha) and "blazing" (+chance to inflict
fire damage to attacker on a parry). An item can have only one legendary, but
they stack with most other eq abilities like +int.

This will be an evolving event, mostly because I'll have bugs to fix, but also
as I add more options as I find the time. Most items with significant game
effect (like the legendary bonuses) will last one year to stay in line with
other holiday events.

Begin your tasks in the Arelium Danish candy shop. I expect to run this event
through the month of November.
