Hey,

First I\'d like to say that I think ships are an excellent feature of Batmud.
Its stuff like this that give Bat its tremendous amount of depth and things to
do other than log on, kill stuff, log off.

Suck up aside, there are some tweaks that I believe should be considered.

1. With the new world I see the speeds were increased and the bookcases were
increased. The other thing that needs to be increases is the amount of
waypoints in the path command that a navigator can do.
I\'m guessing its currently just the navigator level but it should be more
like navigator level +5 or something bigger.
I can bypass the whole issue by writing a script in my client (Bat) that can
handle unlimited waypoints but that means my officers would also to run my
client or build their own scripts.

2. The failure on the ship survey command with my level 5 navigator seems to
be about 3-4 in 5 (i may be off but its high). This of course provides nothing
but frustration in an already time consuming exercise. I know I can get maps
from other people (Thanks guys!) but really, where is the fun in that?

3. The Bosun can\'t summon/dock the ship. Is there any point of the position?
There is a metagame solution of course (He sends me a SMS, I log on, summon
ship, log off, he tells me where he left it later). Would it be possible to
give the Bosun the rights to summon/dock? Or even a better solution would be
to assign what rights the First Mate/Bosun have but that may be difficult.
I\'m really not sure what the Bosun can or can\'t do if I\'ve got something
wrong send me a slap.
