I know there are people who are these races still semi-active in game
occasionally, and I also know that the leaders of the races are barely ever on,
and when they are its incredibly unlikely that they want to give out invites. I
was just wondering if there's an actual reason for this, like the races are
considered defunct, or whether it might be an idea to either remove the need
for an invite or at least make it more viable somehow for others to become this
race.

I don't wish to challenge anyone's ownership of this though, and I realise this
question is more from my own noobishness and lack of knowledge of the history
of the game, so if I'm just being ignorant please excuse me, this question
mostly comes from my reinc addictionness and my gf constantly (to the point of
my considering psychological advice) telling me I should be a penguin.

Is there any plan to either make these races playable, (possibly via a more
open invite system, or maybe rebirth playable) or a plan to close them totally,
or is it just a case of leaving them as they are for now?

Cheers.

As I understand it, these races were awarded (including Valar) because the
owners either donated TPs or performed a significant task for the Archwizards.
Therefore I _highly_ doubt that they will become public domain races but
rather will remain as they are currently. Not that I have any formal
knowledge of the subject....just a guess.

Yeah, Ahvensurma kindly explained the situation to me a bit as well. I didn't
realise, but I guess if the owners of each race earned the right to have them
however they want, and they don't want anyone else getting to be them, then
thats fine with me, and only fair. Though I still think its a shame.
Thanks
