Just wanted to try to share some stuff with cannons. So last night I engaged
a mighty class 2 pirate...after having used the RTFM approach (combat info or
help or whatever). I waited 5-10 seconds between shots and only had 3 or so
misfires , none blew up, and i hit at a rate of about 60-70%. I did so using
standard shot, targetting hull, with only 2 cannons (the other 4 are still all
blowed up!), and crappy cannoneers.

So a suggestion I would have is could a command be made where you can set your
firing rate? Something like cannon firerate <1-10> where 10 is 'crew fires as
fast as they can' 5 is 'crew works at a disciplined rate' and 1 is 'the crew
references the How to Shoot Safety 101 Manual for each shot'. In a real
world, we could ask our crew 'how fast can you comfortably shoot your weapon',
and that's what this command would emulate. If not, I am pretty good with
counting (as long as it's not over 10 and i'm wearing shoes), so i can
manually do it.
