I logged on yesterday after getting off work to see an event taking place. I
hadn't given much thought to anything happening since normally there is a few
days heads up. A delightful surprise indeed! So, for that, I would like to
give a HUGE(tm) THANK YOU! to all that gave their time and effort to make it
possible. For thinking up something new, when I was just thinking last week
how cool it would be to have the old 'Shadowfang' (Halloween 2012?) event run
again!
Grabbed a spot in a party w/ Resin and company and the fun began. Seems these
guys had been at this for hours. While we slayed, they dropped the knowledge
on me. Boss spawns 45mins, meanwhile we kill smaller mobs and turn in stuff to
Doctor on Laneor. So...1 hour later, we turn in stuff and killed a boss,
checked points...1.1k points. 3 hours later 3k points. 6 hours later 6.5k
points!
Well after 6 hours, members went to sleep because they had grinded 10 hours+
to get their points and I personally didn't want to spend another 4 hours
grinding mobs + bosses. Fun event, but too much of a grind.
