Many of the matchups went as expected. Nelson, despite having a nearly
unlimited number of sacrifices, was unable to best Asmodeus. Dardechion's
ability to turn people to stone was useless against Mithrandir's 5 stacks of
earth skin. Jasmine's poisons were useless against Sharon the Healer's nearly
infinite healing. And, despite a late-game surge, Llyth was simply able to eat
the blast of an exploding moneybox without dropping.

Other matches were far closer. Lord Soth and the ancient beholder went
toe-to-toe, each with abilities countering the other, until Soth was able to
pull out a final victory 30:29. Arska barely survived the opening salvo of bag
of three random wands, winning 19:17. And the epic struggle, Clone of Shar vs
Rust Monster, went to sudden death overtime, with the clone winning by a coin
flip!

But now is not the time to mourn those who lost. Now is the time to cheer on
those who won. Return to the voting machine as the winners take on each other.
