I very briefly brought up the idea of shipwrecks an an encounter option
in Sailor forum.. this spurred the thought of salvaging

Using skill Cannibalize and referencing shipbuilding skill..
merchs can try to salvage materials from a sinking (and cleared) ship.

- mercn navy rep could be gained from salvaging,

- regular materials- wood chunks or other ships components could be
harvested.

- increased skill could even find shipbuilding items.. a charged lift
foci etc.. as people see fit.

Could be a general salvage from ship : use skill on deck and get random
resouces corresponding to that ship class or take from one specific room to
pull resources that are needed to make that particular room.

It should be appealing enough to draw people out.. but not op enough that
you could harvest more than you normally could.

Problem would be that logically a larger ship would yield more resources and it
take much longer to sink.. so theyd be the most likely targets.

Actually that might not be a problem, would convince more people to try for
