Psionicist skill "knowledge of mental defences [KOMD]" now passively decreases
the cost of "psionic" spells. It also has an direct effect on the the
duration and amount of -psi resist caused by devastating spells.

While at that, the psionicist spell "psionic shield" got changed so, that if
you have high enough KOMD you can specify the amount of spellpoints you wish
to allocate to the shield. The maximum amount is based on the power of your
character.

For the disciples of chaos, the chaotic spawn skill was tuned so that you lose
less endurance points if you manually despawn, than if you let it despawn by
itself.

Also, since we are on the roll, I activated a more "global" tune that has been
quietly logging data for this year and introduced it to a small subset of the
game. Lets call it Relative Encounter Strength Tune. From now on, monsters
can be put into three categories in relation to your strength. Inferior,
normal and worthy. Inferior means that the monster is too weak to learn much
from, and does not pose a reliable threat. Normal is how it has always been
and worthy means that the monster is strong enough to provide a significant
challenge in relation to your power.

How this might play out, is as follows:

With inferior monsters, your reputation gain is either nullified or greatly
hindered. Same goes with experience gain, and possibly other factors that
will be cooked up in time, like loot and such.

With worthy monsters, your reputation and experience gain is increased and
possibly other factors like the quantity and quality of loot is increased.

The motivation behind this change is both to save you from grinding the
easiest monsters in the game for best reputation/mastery gain and to push you
to challenge more interesting monsters in your daily play. Also, it might
encourage partying.

Consider tells you if a monster is considered inferior or worthy. Vast
majority of monsters you encounter should still fall in between, and regular
pay should not be too much swayed by this. Ultrahighbies will have harder
time finding worthy opponents. Newbies and midbies not so much.

Currently, it only affects the reputation of the disciples of chaos "spawn
rep". However, if The Powers That Be see that the experiment goes on well,
the feature might get introduced to other mechanics, guilds, loots and
experience gain in the future.

Have a nice day,
-J
