Short version: I'm looking to do an incremental cross country road trip. If
you meet these criteria, please let me know:
* Live somewhere in the US and/or southern Canada
* Live near a major airport (somewhere I can take a bus/cab/get a ride from)
* Have a driveway/parking spot/something where I could leave a car for 2-4
weeks sometime in the next year.

Basically, I'm planning to take long weekends every 2-4 weeks (I can work
remotely ~2 days a week). I'd be driving a winding route across the country in
intermittent gaps. I'd drive to your city, fly home, then a few weeks later,
fly back to get my car, and head on towards some other city.

Secondly, if you're interested in joining me for one of the legs of the trip,
let me know...I'd have seating for 3 passengers. The general thing would be
I'd fly on Wed night, work from a coffee shop/whatever 9-5 on thursday, drive
thursday afternoon, work friday from somewhere, then friday evening-monday
morning have time to explore/hike/play wherever I am, then monday/tuesday
would be back to work at day/drive at night, and then flying home on tuesday
night from the next major city.

I'm starting in San Francisco, so clearly the farther west the city, the
sooner it would be. I'm toying with the idea of going to Seattle in mid-august
as a first leg, then on towards salt lake city as a second leg, new mexico as
as third, somewhere in texas...but it's not set in stone, and I'm going to
prefer places where I can avoid paying for parking/worrying about getting
towed .
