Died for the first time in HCbat today. Surprisingly enough this didn't make
me feel bad, only slighty amused and annoyed because of the way I died
(frogged by mob, then drowned in a river :D)

Anyway, HCbat seems much more interesting than normal batmud now. I'm
seriously considering about retiring, or at least having a pause, of playing
flowerbat. Yes, the stakes in HC are high, but the rewards are much better.

Normal batmud seems to be nowadays about downtunes and tunes that make
player's life harder. Often these tunes seem to hit low-end of playerbase
hardest, even if the tune has been carefully thought out and considered not to
do that. Of course there are good tunes too and considering how old HCbat's
codebase is, much could be updated and improved there - which I hope the
possibly upcoming sync will accomplish.
