The funny thing is, I feel Odinic only when I drink shitloads of caffeine.
Must be the adrenaline-type substance that I get from caffeine, plus the
dopamine release. In Finnish culture we used to have Ukko, which resembles
Thor, Donar and Ilmarinen. I have also started to look for väinä in waters,
the väinä is a suvantokohta in water, the place where the water doesn't flow.
The ancient Finns said it is Väinämöinen's boatmark. Interesting. And they
said, that after Jesus came Väinämöinen sailed away and Väinämöinen will come
back when the need is dire. And they said Väinämöinen turned black because
Jesus came, the Valkokristus, White Christ. Whose magic is stronger than
Väinämöinen's (Wainamoinen's). Interesting folk legend, folklore. Just
fairytales, but VERY VERY interesting.
