So I have been following a couple of kitty journals, mainly because I like looking at kitty pictures, aren't they so cute!!!!! Today someone posted about toilet training a cat, now that is serious business! My two are approximately an appropriate age to try such a thing, both young, still impressionable... and damn, they like using the litter box that is upstairs next to the toilet! Garth loves the water, up to now I have to keep all toilet lids shut. He has an intense, abnormal, fascination with water. He has even jumped into the shower! As a little kitten I started closing the lids since I was worried he would jump in and have difficulty getting out. Don't need any stories of cats in the sewer, alligators are enough. He's big enough now that there is little hazard of that, now it is to keep him from playing in the toilet water. So my curiousity was piqued, if nothing else it would be an amusing read, perhaps even useful. Warning, warning, warning, I was laughing so hard by the middle of the article I couldn't finish. My coworkers have more proof of my insanity and I almost snarfed the yogurt I was eating. This article is very earnest, but there is a certain hilarity to imagining cat using a toilet, much less training said cat to do so. <http://www.karawynn.net/mishacat/toilet.html>
