Not much happening in real life at the moment, although Mother's Day weekend
was a pleasant one out at the farm.  All of the family was able to make it out
on a sunny and warm day.  Dad fired up the grill and we feasted well.  The day
before, Dad and I got the cattle moved out to their respective pastures for
the summer grazings.  Until June rolls around, the only farm work planned at
the moment for me is to keep logging out more firewood before the brush
overtakes and hides from me in the timber.

Today's stupid idea for Bat: the Western Hemisphere Bat shard.  Spin away
Batmud in its current state and dedicate a separate shard just for everyone
not in Europe.  Then, the Western Bat can revert back the old reinc system,
remove invites to nuns, never install thieves, etc., etc.  It'll be wonderful,
just think, no 24/7 finn mongers hogging up certain eq mobs, cash areas,
fucking up lq's at the start of boot, screwing up abuse prots for other eq
mobs, etc. etc.  I can just see it now, about 25 active players on the shard
and most won't be over lvl 60.  It'll be happy and flowery, none of this
negativity that I'm seeing lately.  I'm sure some power gamer will whine that
they can't prove their superiority over the Americans if they aren't on their
shard.    But as a side bonus, people can spout finnish all they want on the
public channels of the original bat shard.  This is win-win, it just can't
lose!

Why, we can even have the pair of American arches oversee, and the active
American wizlings develop.  I can't see a downside to this yet.  The only
argument against is possibly a hardware resource issue which I can't answer. 
But computing iron is so cheap anyways, I doubt it'll cost me much to purchase
a machine for this idea.  Shoutout to Aceduck.
