Twiddle. Recovering from surgery... got my tonsils removed. Starting to feel
better, surgery was last wednesday, into 7th day since operation. Puuh, throat
was really painful and swollen for awhile. Operation was rather painless, lots
of drugs, mmm... morphine and general/local anaesthesic. Cute nurses took good
cares of me *wink* (I wish). Though, in my drugged state I seem to remember
someone saying 'absolutely gorgeous', I assume (hope) she was talking about me
*laugh*. I'm glad I had this operation, has given me the chance to take a
break from uni, was getting a little overwhelming. Lots of work, I have so
little focus. Learning a lot about myself since I've moved to this city. I've
been here for over a year now. Jeez, time flys. Progress to world domination
has been a little slow recently, hope to be picking up a little once I am
fully recovered. Fuck, I'm such a lazy bum... dunno how I'm going to complete
this PhD, need to pull my finger out. Oh, that reminds me... my supervisor
tried to bribe me the other day... he offered me a trip to Korea to present my
paper, which I haven't written yet... but hes trying to inspire/bribe me to do
it because it's on a topic I not to interested in (control). I've been reading
a couple papers on control in the last week, it doesn't look so bad, a bit
complicated with the big formulas, but it should go smooth... this supervisor
is a world-class controller, so I'll get him to instruct me in the fine arts
of control (control = mechanical dosing of carbon to bioreactors, this
controls reaction rate allowing effluent standards to be met). Anyhow, its
been awhile since I've talked, good night, god bless.

complain I guess. Good reason to stop mudding. All I seem to do is idle

Up at 7am this morning as I must go to Wastewater treatment plant and get some
sludge, mmm. Smells really bad, but it contains bacteria for my experiments.
The bacteria converts nitrate (NO3) to nitrogen gas (N2). The process is not
always so simple, some intermediates can result. These intermediates can cause
problems when they accumulate, mmm, cause thats bad, mmmmmkay? :)

Did another experiment today on full-scale sludge, mmm. Got up bright and
early to go pickup the beautiful sludge... lots of problems with the
experimental setup, so didn't start experiment until 2pm... hehe. Short
experiment, only 2 hours. More experiments tomorrow, yay! I have to write some
more of my conference paper tonight... must give very rough draft to post-docs
for feedback. Full report to be submitted to supervisors on monday so they can
ask for approval from industry partners before submission to the conference
(lotsa bullshit that I'm glad I don't have to deal with... I'm just the
grunt). God, my english is terrible today, has been a big day, puuh! Time to
go home, cya!:)

Hmm, nice day... organised my samples for lab analysis. Quite expensive, I
have 39 samples for FIA analysis at $AUS4 each, and 18 samples for VFA
(volatile fatty acids) at $AUS 7.50. It's ok because my project is loaded!
hehe. On a lighter note, I bought a mountain bike on the weekend, my ass/groin
are so sore from the damn seat... I must be getting soft in my old age :(

Hmm... had meeting on friday with my supervisor and 2 post-docs. Seems there
is a conference April 2004, they want me to write a paper, for submission at
end of month. Of course, I won't be attending conference, but my supervisor
will, so he will need something to present, hahahahaha! I am a slave, born
into bondage (ooo, sounds kinky). But hey, its all good, I will have another
publication! My plan for world domination has begun!!! 

LEVEL 100!!! Finished reinc, was pain in ass at beginning... but was kinda
cool near end (I think it needs tuning, still too long to make back the exp). 

hmm, busy at uni... doing experiments. I have two supervisors, ones pretty
cool, the other is an utter fuckface cunt, i hate him! One of the post-docs is
pretty cool, the other is a bossy bitch! Argh, its like ying and yang,
everything is balanced in my life. 

Big day today... Ran a TOGA experiment on sludge taken from Luggage Point's
Wastewater treatment plant, biggest one in southern hemisphere. Whee! Had
meeting with team members to discuss my complaint about supervisor, basically
I gotta start being more proactive and assertive. One of the post-docs on the
project is really smart, like me! lol:)

Whee, just took a look at other ppl's blogs... guess I gotta make mine
interesting. So... Well, today I made 600k cash, and 3m exp... yay!!! Was
meaning to go to the gym... but, was a cool movie on tv so... slackass
bastard! haha. What else... umm. Watching Letterman atm, its late, 1:23pm...
letterman is talking about him being a father soon, eek! the dirty old
bastard! (56!) I bet hes screwing a woman 20-30 years his junior, what a
champ! Guess thats America for ya, money/fame is everything!!! haha. 

Won exp lottery today. Just realised that I won exp lottery at start of year
when i was ~200m, now I won today at 300m. Weird! Plan: win lottery irl this
year.

University putting pressure on me... I'm actually doing some work now. Have
entered idle mode.

Made 2 new solo kill yesterday! whee!!! 140k bankguard, then 155k duz mayor
straight after. HUGE (tm) energy!!! whee!:D
