Make the game more enjoyable for new and midbies. I'm not
asking to make it easier but rather to deal with some of the
frustrating aspects. I'll make some suggestions on ideas and
wanted news group. Here what's coming:

Suggestion 1:
Newbie warehouse is more like a lottery than a real help
right now. That's fine to have, but what about something
that'd help newbies getting some eq with stats? Some sort of
cart everyone could use (and not only merchants) to sell
cheap stuff (like <50k)? I already suggested this one, have
a look at the 10374th article in ideas-wanted group and rate
it up if you like the idea, or down if you don't.

Suggestion 2:
Newbie's routine is solo exp. At times they get to quest or
explore a bit, but after the first few levels it becomes
quite rare. Create a guild all backgrounds could join that'd
give skills to harvest the basic materials needed by
merchants to craft things (like chests), or give those
skills to explorers. It won't be much but it will provide
something else to do at least, along the fact everyone will
be able to lower the price of their merchant made items.
Those probably won't complain either since when it comes to
storing those people will need them to amalgamate. More
services to provide, less material gathering.

Suggestion 3:
Still with the idea to provide more doings to newbies,
create some quests doable at will involving farming items.
This allow to make quests hard enough to justify decent
rewards without making them impossible for a newbie fighting
solo. It will take time and won't be much different from
making exp, but the one doing them will have a goal in mind
and periodic rewards. Another way to achieve this are areas
like burning village that provide easy quests with random
rewards, most of them being useless but with a few that are
wearable by newbies. However there's too few of them.

Suggestion 4:
Give all background that are still lacking one a guild that
has decent soloing capabilities with 10m worth or so. Reason
should be obvious, it's not fun for the newbie who spent
some time deciding on a background that he likes to be told
to recreate a few hours after he joined. More details to
come about this later here, on forum or directly in news
groups.
