All this seems to imply, that you just _can't_ cast the
spell at others without reasonably high KOMD. And sure
enough, we have people that have KOMD 100%. Kudos to them.
But, I personally think that the choice of usable/unusable
has taken precedence over the power of the spell.

This might come as a shock, but I, for my part, don't solo.
I also rather rarely get disrupted by spell effects and/or
specials while in backrow. Being able to cast this spell
on myself is not really of any noticeable effect. What the
spell would be of use in, is parties, helping those poor
first-row casters to get their spells off more often.

I feel that many other psionicists (including newly reinced
full-level ones) share this dilemma, where we have a new
interesting spell - that we actually can't really use.

I would rather see the limit for casting on others be more
dependant on TOMP and spell percentage, and if there are
tune concerns, just water it down and let those with high
KOMD keep their enhanced effect of it.

In short; a scale instead of a binary on/off.

Finally some feedback, thank you for that. It is true that there is a hard
(as opposed to soft) requirement for komd to cast the spell on others and
it might be somewhat arbitrary, but it is not even close to 100%. The idea
behind the limit is that the spell is sort of a reward for the members who
have spend some time in the guild.

Please use idea-command or this news group if you have some thoughts how to
improve this guild. I might even make some of them come true, Grimsh-willing.

Instead of having limitation when the spell can be casted upon others, it would
be more (new guild member) friendly that it could be casted on others with
almost any masterys & spell %, but with reduced ammount of 'saves'.
Now, when i can cast it on others it saves from 4-6 interupts until wearing
out debending about stats. It would not be unbalanced to allow someone with 20%
of spell & handful of masterys to cast it on someone else and have it save one
interupt. Maybe lower the min requirements to 100 points of spell and masterys
combined to ne able to cast the spell on others?

Or even better, remove the limitation altogether but make the save not to be
100% sure. e.g. with 20% masterys and spell, you could cast it on others but
when interuption happens, it has only 20% chance to prevent it.
The more top end psi you would be, the more certain saves it would grant and
the number how many interuptions it would prevent would also increase. That
would also make it possible to have potions of MTs, tough without masterys and
all, they would be more like +luck than any real help.
