The first offensive spell taught to new ghost liberators is 'ghost light'. While the punishment dealt by this spell gets higher by the level, it also gets more complicated to cast, requiring more effort and time. The spell tries to draw light from the room, and then release the slowly drained energy in a sharp burst at the target. The spell can also benefit from the ghosts helping the liberator, making this spell a curious mix indeed. While not being as picky about the target's evilness as most other ghost liberator skills and spells, the order suggests you only use it on evil targets.

While the order is mostly melee-oriented, Samuel de Montfort's background as parlour magician gave birth to this spell. It started from magic missile, the backbone of starting magician's arsenal. From there the spell grew to this pinnacle of ghost magic. It is said that no two ghost liberators cast the spell the same way, but each has their own way of casting this spell.
