It seems to me that the decision about anything being spam is very much up to
the individual. I get junk mail, lots of junk mail, and generally I view this
as spam... but one in 100 letters/leaflets interests me. Same with email. Same
with any information. A very obvious and current topic is Jayrayjay's posts...
in his search for a definitive spam algorithm, in some peoples view he's just
managed to produce spam, others have quite liked his intellectual ramblings.
I'd say the answer to Jaysayjay's question is the same answer to "How long is
a piece of string?". I'm ill, I'm bored, and I felt like typing. This, for
some people, is probably spam too.
