In a way, solar energy is also free but consider the space required by those
panels to replace the whole world's energy consumption

On the last document i've seen they were building a new fusion reactor
supposed to give out about the same amount of energy it takes. I think as
those reactors use kind of cheap fuel the output/input ratio wouldn't have to
be very much over 1 to be profitable.

But oh well, i wouldn't know for sure. And since 80 out of 100 mudders know
everything i expect to be corrected.
