When buying equipment, always make sure it is in proper condition. If it not
AWE, ask for a 50% discount, eventhough that discount would cover repair costs
10 times over. This is especially true for equipment that takes relatively
little damage, such as spregen and diamond weapons. If, however, you
disregarded the aforementioned procedure and bought a piece of equipment that
turned out to be in incredible condition, call the seller a cheater and ask
him for your money back afterwards.
Sometimes it is a good idea to turn down equipment eventhough it is in
AWESOME condition and would fit your set nicely. For example:
Foo tells you 'cond?'
You tell Foo 'AWE'
Foo tells you 'nevermind'
This display of careful consideration will really make people respect and
adore you. Who knows, maybe they'll invite you to their equipment parties next
saturday, since turning down equipment in its prime shape proves you are a
person with very high standards, and you really must rock for that reason.
