We must have very different views on what constitutes
'THE BEST' part of the game.
I atleast would find it much cooler to explore new things,
and complete quests for exp (a thing which we are sadly missing
instead of farming exp by killing the same mobs over and over
again.

well, I would too complete quests for exp but like you said - we're missing
those.
And what comes to explore new things - that might be fun but as it now is
every room gives exp so its more like of a running game. Some other MUDs have
resolved this by not giving exp from every room, just a few of them. Like our
"special places".
And, as a true newbie you're not yet bored killing mobs - and I found it all
too excited when I managed to kill my first 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k, name the k's mob
as a low-lvl giant tank!
