piss on twomi. if he has a problem, to hell with him. yes, the map was
great...but giving in to his childish behavior would only lead to others doing
something similar to get what they want. And as far as the legality of posting
his map on the net...if you're not in his country, his country's laws don't
apply to you. post whatever you want and watch him squirm.
Either the Universal Copyright Convention ("UCC") and/or Berne
Convention-based copyrights are ratified in most countries. Unless you happen
to be living in one of those few countries that do not belong to either group,
you "might" be violating by "posting whatever you want" (fair use might apply,
and since the map data is originally (C) Bat Ry, the case is not very clear.)

GGr is right, because of UCC there is no downloading of software, movies,
games, or music that is created by others without proper payment. Oh wait, no,
that's not true. Ggr live in the real world where even if you VIOLATE the law
it's a civil litigation which requires expensive lawyers to get an injunction.
Twomi will not spend $20,000 to get someone to "stop" using his stuff or some
form of it, almost everything I see have some legal violation on amateur
websites, get over it. If you post something online, someone will probably
copy it and repost it, probably with your name/credit but not with your
permission, be happy they do that at least. This isn't to endorse any civil
violation but it's reality, laws are not "instant" they cost money to make
work in countries like USA.
