I've had the pleasure on being in batmud when the thieves guild
existed (who says it doesn't exist now?), and I truly remember what it
was like to be afraid every second that you'll get mugged.
I once remember when a dude bought a new weapon just before joining the party,
and when we got the first mob, he used pound, and before he landed the blow
somebody had snatched the weapon from his hand.
Oh yes, and I remember when you could loot an unconcious players' weapons by
typing 'loot'. And I remember vividly how helpless you felt (or how in a hurry
you were) when seeing a bunch of 90's making minced meat out of your guards
in the player valley. Oh those were the days.
