hi, in business school, they are making me take this microsoft excel 2008
course. now im very stupid. beyond stupid and hopeless. i am wondering if
there are any excel gurus out there who can hold my hand and make sure i
'excel' at this course. your time will not be wasted, but your patience will
be tested.

You mean Office 07? Unless you are on a Mac then it's Office 08.

You mean Office 07? Unless you are on a Mac then it's Office 08.
If it's office 08, for mac, you're getting off easy. Mac doesn't support
visual basic which means all fancypancy features are impossible to do on a
mac. That aside, I really can't imagine what an excel-course could possibly
contain. Does this course have the notepad course as prerequisite? :)

Simply untrue. Excel for Mac supports VBA and includes the VBA Editor.
