The level of debate has gotten so low, that this thread isn't even funny,
and the original topic is completly lost in this myriad of personal
insults and flames. Tho I've yet to see any links about Saddam's acid pools,
I have to admit that Blayke's posts were atleast legible and had some
sense in them, compared to much of the crap that has subseded it.
Shouting about brainwashing is just plain silly. If the media somewhere
is biased, it isn't brainwash - people are still allowed to make up their
own mind whether to trust what they see and read. The fundaments of democracy
and free speech is the skill (and will) to communicate your views freely, and
to accept that others may have a different point of view. Changing someone
over to your side should be done via logic and solid evidence, not by waging
a contest over who can shout the loudest (or invent the best insult).
Besides, everybody already knows that Blayke is a extreme right-wing christian
fundamentalist redneck from Alabama (and a republican too)!
