Could someone who actually knows explain what each of the methods provided for
ideas etc. are now usable for what?
I have now seen at least two occasions where a wizard simply states that the
matter should be taken to a player (wizard ones not allowed?) representative.
So, what kind of issues should be taken to 1) council representative 2)
ideas-wanted 3) idea command 4) direct contact to a friend-wiz ?
If all should be used for same thing, what is the correct order?

Here be some examples:
Minor change "I want a new adverb added" -> Direct contact or idea command
New idea "Add a pcity rearranging module" -> Ideas wanted or council rep
_Major_ change "Make combat work" -> Idea command or send to /dev/null

Essentially, if you want player feedback then ideas-wanted is the way to go,
if you want it pondered over by a small group try the council, if it's
something big probably best left in the idea tracker and if it's something
that really needs no concensus go directly to a wiz.

My two cents and a pile of turds,

That being said, note that sole wizards (not arches), while being able to
agree on your idea will have to get arch approval, if it's something
life-altering that would affect more players. But in general the order Dralith
painted out pretty much resembles current workflow. Although ideatracker would
be my last choice of sending an idea in, for some reason it's being glanced
through on a very rare basis.
