I don't want to make this a flame, or be overly disrespectful, although it's
in me, and most likely many of the players during the hours after 12PM EET.
Lately this mud has become almost unplayable every single night after that
time. Some days it is worse then others, some days better, but over all the
new map and how "cool" it may be, does not justify the amount of lag and
dissatisfied players. When I leave the room to take a leak and come back 60%
of my screen is LAG: X seconds (...) messages all over the place. It makes
leading a productive party undoable, i even makes doing solo exp annoying as
hell as you enter room and get 10+ seconds of lag.
I for one would prefer a couple of options, either reintroduce a two a day
reboot again until this map can be worked out, or remove the map until we have
the server power to back up the map. Above all else I would love to see some
type of formal response from Admins as to the status of this ongoing issue.
Although I have access to play during the daytime hours of East Coast America,
when I like to relax at night and play with friends, I cannot, and then it
makes me want to stop playing during these hours. I have been playing for a
long time, so a long time player losing interest in this game due to the lag
makes quite an impression to me as to what some new players must think. If I
logged in for first time, or this was within my first month of playing I would
quit playing due to just incredibly slow process speed. it makes our game
which we love so much, look like some retard commodore 64 running pong.
